Commitment to Character (C2C)

The IB Learner Profile Program

Trust is The Foundation of All Relationships

Teachers use positive reinforcement, recognition, and reward to inspire their students to build meaningful friendships and to encourage them to demonstrate respect and responsibility in their daily lives.

A monthly "Character Word" provides a theme for teachers to teach their students about good character. One or two children from each classroom are chosen every month as role models. The monthly "Character Word" is provided by the Pinellas County school system and is followed by all elementary schools.

Selected students are recognized with positive reinforcement, individual recognition, and usually some type of reward. They are presented to the entire school as leaders and role models on school TV and assemblies.
